The inter-institutional doctorate program (DINTER) is between UFPel and UFES.

Teaching and research activities will be carried out on Maruípe campus, in the Brazilian city of Vitória, Espírito Santo (ES) with cooperation between UFPel and UFES professors.

CAPES recently approved the PhD course at UFES in March 2012.

The program has a CAPES rating of grade 7, this is the highest grade in Brazilian Public Health and represents an excellence level at international standards.
